State-of-the-art Kiln Drying Facilities

Musser Lumber Company's kiln drying process is second to none.  Experienced kiln operators monitor the lumber throughout the entire cycle.  While the overall process is highly automated, our operators still use an extremely hands on approach to drying--checking sample boards from each kiln on a daily basis, as well as utilizing state-of-the-art computer systems to monitor the operation of each kiln.

Further, multiple fluted sticks are meticulously placed between each and every layer of lumber to ensure the utmost quality is maintained throughout the kiln drying process.  Once the lumber is "stuck," it is then carefully loaded into one of Musserís multiple modern kiln drying facilities, an example of which can be seen below.
